MUBS - Aley campus received Mrs. Vicky Gould, Lecturer of Nutrition at Cardiff Metropolitan University, to talk about the role of "Food Safety in HIV-Vulnerable Populations". Mrs. Gould shed light on the latest research and discoveries related to the field and presented a number of controversies surrounding the disease. Mrs. Gould focused on the risk of food-borne illness, and the role of nutrition and dietetics experts in the fight against HIV, especially in vulnerable populations who are at high risk of contracting the disease.

Mrs. Gould also introduced the students to the School of Health Sciences at Cardiff Metropolitan University, highlighting the unique opportunities available to MUBS students through the student and faculty exchange program as part of the Erasmus + projects.

Mrs. Gould's visit is one of a series of annual visits made by faculty and staff of Cardiff Metropolitan University to MUBS, enhancing academic and cultural exchange between the universities' communities. MUBS is the only Lebanese university with external moderation to its curricula, ensuring high-quality education and valuable student opportunities prior and post-graduation.
