PEACE II Erasmus Mundus Project Update

PEACE 2 information sessions at MUBS

On November 18 and 19, 2015, the Office of International Affairs at the Modern University for Business and Science and in close collaboration with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in Spain organized four information sessions on the PEACE 2  ERASMUS MUNDUS project. The information sessions took place at all MUBS campuses including the Aley, Hamra, Damour and Semkanieh campuses. The sessions’ aim was twofold: raising awareness on the Erasmus Scholarships in general and disseminating information to MUBS students and staff about the last call for PEACE 2. Dr. Sami Ashour, the International Relations Project Officer at USC, delivered four comprehensive presentations on the objectives, requirements and regulations of the PEACE 2 project with a special emphasis on the application procedure. The presentations were followed by Q&A sessions. More than 200 students and staff from all campuses have attended the information sessions to gain insights and practical guidance about living and studying  in Europe.
