MENA_SAFE Erasmus+ Project Update

Dr. Alaaeddine Ramadan and Dr. Ahmad Bazzi represented MUBS in the kick-off meeting of MENA-SAFE Project hosted by Gdansk University of Technology in Gdansk, Poland on February 3 and 4, 2016. The partners discussed on the first day the objectives, action plan, and related financial and administrative issues of the project. During the second day, participants presented their institutions and their relevant activities and curricula.

The MENA-SAFE  is a three-year European Project, under Erasmus+ program. The project will offer and implement:
- A wide market analysis to know the perception and needs of university and Industry regarding the new curriculum in Traffic Safety.
- Web-based EU-MENA Traffic Safety Network between University-Industry for sharing of experiences and data.
- Webinar online meetings for sharing academic discussion and practices.
- Handbook of best practices and standards in Traffic Safety between EU-EG-JO-LB.
- Open CourseWare for teachers and students.
- Web-based EU-EG-JO-LB road traffic accidents and benchmarking databases.
