Cardiff Metropolitan University at MUBS is dedicated to academic excellence and lifelong learning for individuals in the Middle East and beyond. It is the fruit of the partnership between Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) and several British Universities most notably of which is that with Cardiff Metropolitan University (CMet) for offering dual degrees programmes in Lebanon. This partnership was launched under the auspice of the British Ambassador to Lebanon HE Mr. Tom Fletcher in September 2012. We also partner with Staffordshire University UK to offer the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programme. MUBS also partners with Durham University (UK) on research and exchange of knowledge through mobility programmes.

The academy bases its educational philosophy and standards of education on the British model of higher education. BAL is passionately committed to creating equal opportunities for students, faculty and staff to be part of the education process. The academy responds to globalization by fostering the international dimensions in higher education while emphasizing a respect for diversity and cultural exchange. Graduate of the British Academy are capable of being active contributors to a positive and sustainable change. Through BAL, MUBS is able to offer its undergraduate students double degrees in Business and Management Studies, as well as at the postgraduate level BAL offers: Masters of Business administration, MBA in Project Management, Masters in International Tourism and Hospitality Management and Masters in Sport Management and Leadership.
